The best part of the new redesigned site it that if you scroll all the way down to where it says links you can see this very site in a captured image:

Well I guess thats my 15 minutes of fame.

As expected, the cover song that TransAtlantic recorded on January 15th, 2001 (see our exclusive
Studio Diary) is Pink Floyd's "Shine On You Crazy
Diamond". The band didn't want to announce the name of the cover at the time, because they
wanted to keep it a surprise for their performance at NAMM
(a major dealer trade event) in Anaheim, CA, on January 20th, 2001.
According to Mike Portnoy it was specifically recorded as an extra track, which will most likely
not be on the regular release, but will instead be used for another limited edition 2CD set.
The original version by Pink Floyd consists of nine parts. Five of them are located at the beginning
of the "Wish You Were Here" album, and the remaining four parts are located at the end.
TransAtlantic has rearranged the song by combining all parts and reducing the total time from
25 minutes to approximately 15 minutes. They also tried to make it sound more like a TransAtlantic
song, with a lot of jamming in the instrumental sections. According to Mike Portnoy, it came out
awesome.

I received the TA Live cd yesterday. It's awesome. This show was orignally recorded as a one shot video for a cybercast...which sucked. But the sound quality is pretty. Especially Roines guitar which was not hooked up to his own equipment. He used Mike's wife's 10" amp. Overall the show sounded better than the Video looked. The video was not in sync(no pun intended) with the music. Mike would hit his drums after you heard the sounds.

Mark Bredius has done it again. He re-designed the Radiant Records website. He;s done a great job on this site and many others. Also, Radiant Records is having a blowout sale on many items, and if you buy 3 items you get a signed Glossy Photo of Spock's Beard or TransAtlantic (depending on the items you order).
I purchased a TA shirt, mouse pad, Nick 'n Neal cd, and Don't Try This At Home cd. With it came the signed Glossy Photo of TransAtlantic with Neal's signature on it. I'd love to show it to you but my damn scanner is broken.
And Last but not least TranaAtlantic Winds has already generated over 2000 page views less than two months.

Well I redesigned the site to look more like the new Live In America cd. I like it, but it looks a little too plain to me. So please tell me what you think. I also updated the FAQ, discography, history, concert list, reviews, interviews and so much more. I hope you like it.
P.S - IT LOOKS GOOD IN NETSCAPE TOO!!!! Which is a first for me.

I ordered Don't Try This At Home Either along with a poster from Radiant Records.com. Well, I recieved it today. While opening the package for the poster, I stumbled upon what I thought was a packing slip. But it was a fax that Neal Morse sent to Stephanie about information on changing the address for their domain raidantrecords.com. Along with it was Neal's signature. How awesome is that!
I also added some real media files in the sound clips section.
